There are lots of sets back you can come across when you want to set up a new business. New businesses that are not monitored with care has a big risk of crumbling. Below are the things to know before opening a business;
PLAN YOUR FINANCE
One of the 9 things to know before opening a business, is financial security. When starting up a business you have to plan the way you spend your money, don’t ever make the mistake of touching your capital. It’s very risky to spend your capital.
LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMER
As the saying goes: customers are always right, don’t be the type that always offends your customer when they bring a particular issue to your notice always listen and find a way of finding a solution! Don’t always ignore them.
BE CREATIVE
Be creative don’t just remain in one spot as this can bring about the downfall, at least every year think of something new to add to your particular trade.
PLAN YOUR GOAL
If you don’t have a goal that means there’s no aim for setting up that business and when you have a goal try to always meet up with your goals.
FOCUS
When you concentrate on what you do you can’t be a successful businessman or woman, you must remain focus.
REST
Don’t overwork yourself because you want to be successful. When it’s necessary for you to have some rest relax because when you overwork yourself you may land up in the hospital.
FAIL
When starting something that is going to bring a good outcome there is always room for failure. Without failure then what is success, when you fail don’t give up, have hope and try again.
Set up your business standards
• Every business person desire a standard brand for himself or herself but we aren’t taking note of some important things.
• In every business be it you are rendering a service or you are selling a product, there should be a standard price of what you sell.
• Most of us do have the standard price but due to some circumstances, we tend to bring down our standard when a client says it is expensive.
• I’m not saying you shouldn’t give room for bargaining but make sure what you want to get for a price is worth it.
• Sometimes it isn’t that easy to stand your ground, there are going to be days you will go broke and need to overlook your standard and settle for the less, but I tell you this is even the time you have to take your ground.
• The reason for this is that if you bring your standard down for a reason today u might not be able to meet up with the standard again because your clients already see you as someone they can just ride on and get their work done.
• So in conclusion let your clients know your stand and believe me when you do this, those that know the worth of what you do will surely patronize you.
