She is a native of Ondo, a city in southwest Nigeria’s Ondo State. She attended the University of Lagos and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy. Bimbo began her acting career in 1996, but it wasn’t until she appeared in the Yoruba film “Omo Elemosho” in 2012 that she gained widespread recognition. At the St. Ann’s Primary School in Oke Agunla, Ondo State, Oshin began her formal education. Later, at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, Lagos State, she earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy.

She started her acting career in 1996 when she joined the Razak Ajao-owned Ara Osan Theatre Group, popularly known as “Pefun Ele.” She also had the chance to work with and interact with both Taiwo Hassan and Yinka Quadri.

Her debut Yoruba film, “Eji Owuro,” with a score by Sola Allyson Obaniyi, was also produced in 2003. The soundtrack of the film was especially well-received, and she later released the song on an album. She also had a role in the hugely successful Yoruba film “Omo Elemosho.” In 2012, Yewande Adekoya served as the film’s producer while Adebayo Tijani served as its director.

Famous Yoruba actors like Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero), Fausat Balogun (Madam Saje), Muyiwa Ademola, and Toyin Abraham were prominently featured in the film. Additionally, the movie was nominated for 5 awards at the 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards.
