Chinko Ekun Early Life and Education

Oladipo Olamide Emmanuel, better known by his stage name Chinko Ekun, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and composer from the town of Ikare in the Nigerian state of Ondo. On September 13, 1993, the family of Mr./Mrs. Oladipo welcomed their second child into the world in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria.

After attending Remade Nursery and Primary School in Igando, Lagos State, Nigeria when he was 7 years old, Baptist Model High School in Ijegun, Lagos, Nigeria for his secondary education, and his alma mater, Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, where he received a law degree, Chinko Ekun started cultivating a passion for music. Most recently, he finished his National Youths Service in Lagos State, Nigeria.

As a result of the aforementioned, Chinko Ekun was born and raised in Lagos State. He discovered pop and rap music during his first year in college. After a lengthy freestyle on Instagram, he marked the beginning of his musical career in 2011.
