Harrysong is the stage name of Nigerian singer, composer, and instrumentalist Harrison Tare Okiri (born March 20, 1981). He first gained notoriety after his song honoring Nelson Mandela won the 2013 The Headies “Most Downloaded Callertune Award.” Harrysong, who has Ijaw ancestry, was born in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, but moved to Lagos in 2007 after spending some of his early years there.
