If you use Instagram, you’re probably well aware of how addictive the social media application can be.
Instagram may easily consume more of your time than it should, whether you’re browsing through the infinite stream of accounts you follow or methodically chronicling your meals, excursions, and strange day-to-day occurrences on your own feed.
Consequently, you may finally decide to temporarily deactivate your account so that you can take a much-needed break.
Thankfully, it’s just as quick and uncomplicated to reactivate your Instagram account when you’re ready to return as it is to temporarily deactivate it.
It will not take more than a few seconds and requires no complicated actions. Here are the steps you must take.
How to reactivate your Instagram account
If you want to reactivate your Instagram account, follow these guide:
- Open the Instagram app on your phone or tablet.
- Tap on the “Log In” button.
- Enter your username and password for your account.
- Tap on the “Log In” button again.
If your account has been deactivated due to inactivity, it will be automatically reactivated as soon as you log in again.
If your account was deactivated by Instagram for violating the terms of service, you will need to contact Instagram to request that your account be reactivated. To do this, you can go to the “Help Center” in the app, select “Report a Problem,” and then select “Something Isn’t Working” to report the problem.
Keep in mind that Instagram has the right to permanently delete accounts that have violated their terms of service, so it is possible that your account may not be reactivated even if you request it.
