Uwame’s Ekpeye parents brought him into the world in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. She is the third of six children and grew up in a devout Christian home. Uwame’s father was a military doctor who tragically passed away while Uwame was a little child. After her dad passed away, she and her siblings were raised by their mom. A member of the Seventh-day Adventist choir since she was four years old.
There, she recognized her ability as a musician and began to develop her skills. Uwame attended school in Abuja through the secondary level and went on to graduate with a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).
