Picazo Rhap Biography
Omogbolahan Sodiq Ilabode, better known as Picazo Rhap, is a 24 year old Nigerian rapper, singer, and composer.
He entered the market with a number of freestyles and participation in competitions, which led YBNL CEO Olamide to call him up to join the squad.
Musical Career
Picazo Rhap began pursuing music at a very young age. He constantly performed covers of well-known songs and shared them on social media, which helped him build a following.
On October 15, 2018, he caught the notice of YBNL leader Olamide after releasing a rendition of the Chinko Ekun song “Able God,” which featured ex-YBNL singer Lil Kesh and raver Zlatan Ibile at the time.
Before the bigfoot, Picazo Rhap had a close relationship with Sleekamo’s Bit Bender Studios, a recording, mixing, and mastering facility for music.
Rhap recorded some of his tracks there, including Macaroni, which he later remixed with Olamide.
Picazo Quits YBNL
Picazo Rhap was also spotted making the headlines as he too left the team on July 9, 2019, not long after the word spread that Lyta had left YBNL to join Doro Musik Gang.
According to rumors, Olamide just provided him with a stage on which to display his talent to the world; he was not signed by YBNL. Since Picazo Rhap wasn’t signed by Olamide, he was free to eject the team if he saw a better offer or the time was right to go it alone, which is exactly what he did.
He didn’t leave because of the conflict.
Shortly after leaving YBNL, Senior Boyz Records, a new record label, signed Picazo Rhap.
