Meurer was raised in Gambia, where she received her early education. She holds a business management certificate and has studied photography. Meurer dreamed of becoming a stewardess or a pilot when she was a child since she cherished aviation and flying. She began her modeling career in the Gambia before relocating to Nigeria in 2009.
In 2009, Nigerian actor and politician Desmond Elliot spotted her in the Gambia and persuaded her to pursue acting in Nigeria. She went to Lagos, Nigeria and began her film career, starring in Emem Isong’s film Spellbound (2009) and inside the Cupboard (2011).
She also starred in the 2012 film Weekend Getaway. After starring in the 2012 film, she returned to high school in the Gambia for a brief period before returning to Nigeria to resume her acting career. When she returned in 2014, she joined the cast of the television series Oasis as the lead character Kaylah. She portrayed Nneka in Damaged Petal and featured in Red Card and marriage the following year.
She played the lead part in Our Dirty Little Secret in 2017. Meurer renovated and inaugurated the Udu Main Market water development in Udu, Delta State, on May 25, 2017. As a representative of the huge Church Foundation on Women and Child, she provided money to pregnant women in Warri, Delta State, at the 3-H Clinic and Maternity.

I am an actor with a significant social media following; therefore, I will be able to leverage my position to increase the platform’s visibility.”
